At the end of May 2019, I was able to get into our pool finally and I remember working on my range of motion by resting my foot against the wall behind me, I would slowly lean back and that would stretch my quad and push my knee closed. It felt so good!
There was no pressure on the joint bcause of the buoyancy that you have in the water! Its actually the best way to improve range as there is no weight on the joint! I will look to add some pool range of motion exercises to range of motion section on the post op modules.
It doesn't have to be. I went through these replacements too. It was the Yetter Getter Mindset that was the game changer! Lean into that!
Healing is NOT one size fits all.
April 17,2024: Strongly recommend robotic TKR, Less invasive, done 1 and 3 weeks later done the other. Pain was nothing except burning for a few days. Walking 5 mins. After waking up with walker. Not all are the same.

June 20, 2024: My bend started at 55, I was 105 today for the first time I did the bike. Full bike not just rocking it back and forth. I did 3 new things in therapy today, I couldn’t do on Wednesday.
How long did it take you to do stairs without holding the handrail?
June 25, 2024: I think properly they are asking without using the handrail to go up or down. At least that is how I would want you to answer the question.
