What is the Yetter Getter Mindset?
If you and I were sitting across from each other at the kitchen table, and you asked me what the Yetter Getter Mindset is, here’s what I’d tell you:

It’s what carried me through my own knee replacement.

I didn’t pull it from a book or borrow it from a coach. I built it in real time — in the messy, painful, emotional process of healing.

  • When my thoughts were spiraling.
  • When I felt like I had no momentum.
  • When my body wasn’t responding the way I thought it should.
One day, during my quiet time, a word dropped into my heart:

YET.

It hit me like a breath of fresh air...

  • I hadn’t bent my knee YET.
  • I hadn’t slept through the night YET.
  • I hadn’t walked without the walker YET.
But I was still showing up.

And that’s where Yetter Getter came from. It became my way of reminding myself — and now, you — that you’re still in it. And that matters.

The Best is YET to Come!
I’m talking to the version of me who was in her 40s, working full-time, with an emptier house and a dream of getting in the best shape of her life…

While also dealing with degenerating joints.

You don’t have to be fearless.

You just have to be willing to try.

And that’s where TRY comes in.

TRY
YET = The Spark of Hope
YET is the anchor.

It brings you back to yourself when you feel disconnected or discouraged.

  • You – There is only one YOU uniquely and perfectly designed.
  • Envision – You’ve got to see where you’re going before you get there.
  • Thought – The thoughts you hold shape your healing. Choose them carefully.
YET doesn’t force a shift.

It simply opens the door to the possibility that things could be different.

YET
TRY = The Hope in Motion
If YET is the spark… TRY is the flame.

TRY is how you take that flicker of hope and put it into action — one thought, one emotion, one moment at a time.

  • Talk – The words you are using shape your recovery. What are you speaking?
  • Refine Your Rhetoric – This comes down to your belief. Where does it lie and where does it need refining?
  • Yes – Say yes to a new belief. One you can actually agree with.
TRY is where the healing gets real.

Because you can’t speak life over your recovery while you’re still agreeing with old thoughts that tear you down.

You’ve got to refine what you say to yourself.

You’ve got to challenge what you think you believe. And when you find a new truth you can say YES to... that’s where things start to shift.
The Knee Replacement Hub with Suzie Andrade
Because when you’re healing from a knee replacement, your emotions, thoughts, and physical progress will shift daily. And so will your need for support.

Just like Zig Ziglar said:
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing — that’s why we recommend it daily.”

The same is true for your mindset.

You’ve got to bathe in truth, hope, and language that builds you up — not just once, but every single day.
  • Some days you’ll feel like you’ve got it all figured out.
  • Other days you’ll feel like you’re starting over from scratch.
  • And both are completely normal.
That’s why the true home of the Yetter Getter Mindset is inside the Knee Replacement Hub.

I offer a brief overview inside the Rooted Recovery series — because everyone deserves a glimpse.

But if you want the full experience… if you want to understand how YET brings you hope and TRY puts that hope into action…

If you want to know what to do when the emotions get heavy and your thoughts aren’t serving your recovery…

Then come join me in the Hub.
