I am so glad YOUR here!
Whew, here I am on the other side, over 5 years since my first knee replacement. I didn't see the second one coming quite so soon. I mean, I knew it was degenerating, but the fact that it went from Stage 3 arthritic to bone on bone in 9 months, shocked even me!
I had a LTKR in April of 2019, then 7 months later, I got to have the opposite hip replaced because I was "too young" to have my knee replaced. I thought that would be it for a while.
NOPE.
After my first two replacements, I did an entire transformation for my wedding in June of 2021, but that is what expedited my right knee issues. I had my RTKR done August 24, 2022. I had no doubt that knee would be as successful as the other two were. Honestly, I do consider myself blessed, but not lucky. Recovery is not for the faint of heart or mind.
The last part is likely what brought you to my page. The mindset needed to get through the whole adventure of TKR! It's what I have called the "Yetter Getter" mindset and it's what I teach and you will be a Yetter Getter too!
